    SSI UK in Redcar have 45 days to consult workers on redundancies.

    At SSI Union Reps will represent the employees.

    Organisations without union representation need to ensure they have Employee Reps in place and trained. In these tough trading times no organisation or business can assume cut backs won't affect them

Two recent Employment Tribunal cases, one involving Face book and another one with Twitter have one clear message in common for modern employers – the urgent need to have clear up to date, precise policies and procedures in place about the use of Social Media at work.
