Cumbria campaign set up to tackle abuse to adults

ALMOST 1,500 cases of abuse against vulnerable adults were reported in Cumbria last year – but a safeguarding board says plenty more is going unreported. To target these unreported cases the Cumbria Adults Safeguarding Board is launching a five-week campaign to encourage victims and their friends or family to be aware of the signs of abuse and know how to report it.
