New £2M fund for projects provide extra support to older people next winter

A £2 million fund will be made available to help community and volunteer-led projects provide extra support to older people next winter, the government has announced. Anyone can apply for funding to run projects, which might include exercise programmes, cooking clubs or hospital discharge schemes.
