Data Protection- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) UPDATE

The #GDPR is set to apply in the UK from 25 May 2018. The UK #Government has confirmed that the UK’s decision to leave the EU will not affect commencement of the GDPR. 

The GDPR imposes onerous obligations on employers and fines of up to a maximum of €20million or 4% of worldwide turnover for breaches.
